The Hot August Fringe 2013
The Hot August Fringe festival will return this year in August from Thursday 1st to 23rd August.
We are already planning another line up of great shows and would like to hear from you if you have an idea or show that you would like to put forward for consideration. We look at everything that comes in and really enjoy taking risks. Our line ups in the past have included comedy, cabaret, theatre, music, magic, film, performance art and installations.
The programme showcases work from some of the best avant garde artists alongside some good old fashioned entertainment, with up to three shows a night including some site specific work.

NEW FOR 2013 – ‘HAF Baked’ Scratch Night
This year our festival output will include ‘HAF Baked’, a night of short scratch performances on Monday 12 August, running from 7pm to 11pm including intervals. This is an opportunity to try out new work or present shorter pieces if you are not yet ready to present a full length show.
Each act at ‘HAF Baked’ will be given a maximum slot of 15 minutes and applications are open to all genres of performance.

Royal Vauxhall Tavern
Though the Hot August Fringe doesn’t start until 1 August, the fun continues every night of the week at the RVT. We bring you a variety of entertainment from bingo and cabaret to club nights, performance art and chat shows.
